“HOLY SHIT!” – unreal tournament announcer voice

  2. HUNTER2800

Finally we can play on very high settings

  3. Ok_Lie1456

I can’t wait for the holographic gaming consoles in 2024! Imagine battling dragons in your living room or racing cars through your kitchen.

Thanks for the reminder i actually bough the remaster version have not played it yet.

  5. >*”Why this game so heavy?”*

    >*Branch breaks off exactly where i shot it”

    >*”WTF~!”*

Tough unfortunately, it seems they reduce the interactivity in the sequels to make it a bit easier to run.

It blew my mind back then. Usually, its either invincible tree or one/two breaks animation for the whole tree, not this detailed break on each part

*computer still melts down and dies*

    Oh, crytech… you so silly…

  8. Ok-One9200

I played Crysis on 8500GT 256MB, don’t ask me how many FPS, but i think there was more than 20 from time to time.

  9. liver_rus

I hope you don’t play the remastered version which doesn’t have a quick save. Quick saves make the game so much fun. Fooling around with physics using explosives is so satisfying

Gotta say I was worried wukong would be tough to run I have been pleasantly surprised they even included a compatibility mode for low end pc’s

  11. ssjrobert235

The game that messed up my nvidia geforce 7300. I loved this game.

  12. IronHeart_777

This brought back memories of my 2x SLI EVGA 9800GTX SSCS screaming trying to play this maxed out lol

  13. Actually, we are very lucky because there are not many good games coming out these days and the old games are very good. We can now maximize the graphics settings that we used to have to lower.

  14. summer24cantwait

all jokes aside i don’t think ive played this many old games ever. it feels like the current era of gaming (minus indie games, there are a lot of incredible ones) is awful

  15. Colonel_of_Corn

How do the graphic ls hold up today? Worth playing still visually and story wise? I’ve never played

  16. Lazar_Milgram

    Rtx port anyone?

This shitty remake was shitty as hell.

  17. Lives rent free in my head since ive seen the vid:
…but can it run crysis? NO? THAN ITS GAAAAAABAGE *throws equipment with violent intent

    Love Dunkey 😀

  18. Valaxarian

Jokes on you. My PC couldn’t even lauch it

  19. cynric42

And my PC would probably still stutter doing that.

  20. CaveManta

I loove the per-object motion blur in Crysis. It is such a shame to omit it. Few other games have such a beautiful implementation of motion blur.

  21. mortalcoil1

    motion blur: off

You are a person of excellent taste.

  22. ch1nomachin3

let’s not give these game publishers reasons to publish unoptimized games. a game running on sub 60 fps on 1080p isn’t an achievement. especially when there’s beautiful games out there that run better.

  23. i booted up crysis remastered in my PC only to realize that it’s not compatible with 4K resolution and upscaling it to fullscreen looks shit :/

  24. j_demur3

I’ve not tried it but the Steam Deck can apparently run Crysis.

Given my DVD copy has Games for Windows logos on it, I’m not even sure it’d work with any modern PC though.

  25. azab1898

Guys, is that a new game? Looks good already

  26. Looking at that Motion Blur:OFF, I wish every game had a setting called “cinematic effects” which would turn off all the weird effects that try to make the game look like a movie and not something our characters actually see like film grain, motion blur, chromatic aberration, etc.
While I know some people prefer games looking like that, I hate all of those with a passion(especially motion blur and HDR blown out of proportion).

  27. Mahaloth

In 2020, I bought a gaming laptop(that I still use) and I installed Skyrim. It felt great to see its setting set to “ultra” or “very high”.

  28. Cyddakeed

I desperately need Crysis 2 multiplayer to come back

  29. Very High
    Very High
    Very High
    Very High
    Very High
    Motion Blur: OFF

    As it should be.

  30. AlwaysTheKop

It’s funny, now that I have a PC that would easily run it, the desire has gone… so I still haven’t played it… my hype to play it was when I had a potato PC 😂

  31. skoomafueled

Look at the UI, you can actually see every option available, everything looks cleanly structured, oh how times have changed.

  32. PMagicUK

I could never get past the first mission of this pissing game.

  33. OnlyTheDead

Outside of its obvious status as a meme, is this game actually worth a shit decades later? I’ve never played it and pretty graphics aren’t really enough for me to play something.

  34. SpecialistAuthor4897

Crazy how the first game still feels better than the two followups
It still feels like a really cool sandbox experience with an extreme amount of time blood sweat and tears poured into it.

  35. ChiaPlotting

Can it run Crysis? More like, can I run away from my bills? 😂
