I’m pretty sure some of you know what I’m talking about.

Yeah. One of the reasons for me would be the slow ass launcher with sluggish animations

  2. At least try to work in one single player game at a time into the mix 🙂

I once saw this on someone’s Steam bio: “I already had to spend (waste) my money on my games, why do I have to spend my time on them as well?” And I was like, lol, wait you might actually got a point.

I try to have a triple game set up.

    1. Primarily MP game where I put a lot of effort into. This can be an MMO or a competitive game. Something that warrants the attention.

    2. A casual MP game or some form of long form single player game. Something to kill time or the game my friends are playing.

    3. A single player story driven game to work through when I want to be left alone.

Works and I tend get through my backlog when I can keep to this system.

  5. For me the bottom one is “the 350 games I have yet to redeem from Humble Bundle”

me: buys multiplayer games to play with friends

friends/me: busy adulting to ever play them together.

friends last online: 3 months ago

my last online to them: 8 months ago (my desktop pc died). i just installed steam on my laptop because i keep getting “steam wishlist on sale” emails.

  7. You get the EGS games because they are free, I get them because they cost money to Epic. We are not the same.

  8. I’m one of those that got the gta online for free on Epic Gamea and still play it

  9. I don’t have tons of games and only occasionally buy new games but still only play the same games all the time…

  10. I stopped redeeming stuff on the epic store after the 15th game or so, I literally played none of them anyway.

I bought games on Steam that I already had for free on the Epic Store. That’s how much the Epic Store sucks, I’d rather pay a competitor money for the same thing I can get from Epic for free.

When you realize free games did nothing for Epic because people just redeem them and call it day. It hasn’t actually gotten them invested in using the store at all.

Wreckfest black flag 2 semi-clean C class. Been playing that everyday. I broke the cycle yesterday and downloaded MDK and got it working on RetroArch. I’m pleasantly surprised by that old game. It’s a ton of fun. You can really tell it’s made by the same guy who made Earthworm Jim. Completely different game but same in a lot of ways.

Ive recently tried Control which I got for free from epic and it’s really good.

Can’t relate, I can’t afford that many games, and I have only 50 games on epic

  16. Brilliant-Worry-4446

I don’t know about you guys, but I only redeem the games I’ll actually want to play. What’s the point of having hundreds of games I couldn’t care less about? And the bought games even more so.

    > That’s just being cavalier with your finances, Carlito.

Sounds about right. I have games in my library that are ten years old with zero playtime. A lot of games. And hell yeah, free game?? I’ll take it, epic.

  18. prawncocktail2020

once a year i open epic and load up random free games…. and hey it’s a blast

  19. rexpimpwagen

Nope too busy handing more money to GGG.

Every once in a while I browse my EPIC library and I’m like.. Damn! I wanted to buy that but already have it!
