Man, thank you for sharing this, I now feel less weird for going out of my way to NOT have RGB…
I was buying PC parts with help from a friend who had some 3rd party connections and could find parts cheaper etc.. The convo went like this
Him : “Lets wait for 2 days for the RGB model to come back in stock”.
Me : “Is it much cheaper than non-RGB?”
“No, it is the same” (with very confused face)
“Then I want non RGB one”
“But it is only 2 days and we’re waiting on Motherboard anyhow”
“Man, I will pay $20 extra, to not have RGB”

Dude I saw a YouTube short video just today of the exact build. He stated that his customer doesn’t like RGB and is building like a sleeper build.

this is clean. not sure when the rgb trend started but this build here looks better than all of them.

I find I almost always turn my RGB to a solid color usually white as I am a fan of lighting but not rainbow vomit!
Wrong, more light = more fps

I would love this. One of the reasons I settled on mine was that the RGB was not too ridiculous.
