Having issues with ram showing correct speed in windows. Shows in the bios at 6400 if I turn a xmp on, however reboots take forever, it posts just sits with amber ram light on before finally going onto windows. The ram currently in the system is xmp (I know I didn't read when ordering) have another set that is 6000 expo cert ram coming but I'm not fond of the look of it lol.
I am assuming that these sticks are where the motherboard wants them according to the first picture. Not happy about not getting a manual with the motherboard and just a qr code to download it
Any insight to this would be awesome.
Motherboard is MSI x670e gaming plus
Ram: GSkill Trident z5 royal 6400mhz 2x32gb

Its basically training the ddr5 memory and checking what timings and voltage n shi mt to run. Its normal for it to reboot and figure out the xmp settings. Ddr5 is new and we adopted a new technology with the added difficulties. Intel 15th gen and whatever new amd cpu’s will have an easier time as chipsets gets stronger as well as cpu’s
