Free dlc? FREE!!??? Gtf, we don’t do free dlc anymore.
All we publishers offer now is paid dlc that cost as much as the original game and are broken af.

We’d be happier? Is this because SOME games make ultra and high the exact same just at a performance loss?

This is pretty much what I’ve done in the past for my games. In 95% of the games I work on, the difference between high and ultra is nearly unnoticeable. So for that reason, and what you’re seeing with Wukong, I’ll continue doing this.

The ole Crysis Warhead approach. I personally think they should use Wolfenstein’s amusing difficulty labels for graphic settings, but with the ego booster ones representing lower quality labels just to mess with people’s tendecy to focus more on the label than what they represent.

Nope. Low is now ultra. Medium is super ultra. High is mega super ultra. And ultra is now “ethereal plane of existence as you stare into God’s eyes”.
