Its crazy how long this maps return has been dragged out. Not only am I not excited to play on this map anymore, but all this wait has made me not wanna even play COD anymore. Its all become so repetitive and stale.

Unpopular opinion: this is better – the game will have a bunch of shit at launch that needs fixing, they get a season to tinker before the wave of players coming back for verdansk come back. (They will not fix half the shit people want them too)

I’ve known that it was going to be the second map for a long while now. That’s what happens with rumors and leaks. I remember reading one about six months to a year back. where it was going to be the second map and people still assume that it was gonna be coming out at launch.

Getting Verdansk back is awesome, but I don’t want anything new. I want Verdansk as it was day one. Same movement same guns. Maybe minor tweaks and updated graphics is great. But I want that Fortnite no build treatment. It’s the nostalgia where after, so let’s just quit pussyfooting around and get back to our roots. Hell, traffic’s getting bad let’s bring Covid back as well.

They’ll just ruin it again. Tweak it ever so slightly like they did with the other maps. Shoothouse was my favourite map, now I don’t have one.
Part of the fun of verdansk was being scared of demons and having places to hide, now the colour schemes are off, the lighting is awful, rebirth is worse than ever.
Leave verdansk alone as a happy memory.

Redeploy drones across the map will kill Verdansk.
In OG warzone you had to actually plan out your drop based on the circle because moving around was more difficult. Rotating was slower but safer on foot. Faster but considerably more dangerous with vehicles.
Now you have crackheads zipping from drone to drone across the map, dropping in on your gunfight to third party you.

I’d rather have a new map anyways with the release of bo6. If we just get verdansk or stuck with the current map when a new title is released that will feel so bad.
Would be like vanguard with no updates.

2 ways to mellow this down would be Ranked big map or two big maps in rotation (yes, please bring back Al Mazrah).
