Finally! Xbox exclusives coming to PlayStation? This could change everything. Hope this opens the door for even more cross-platform releases.
Xboxs only “big” game this year Hellblade 2 failed to break the top 20 best selling games of the month it released, it was #38 almost failing to break the top 40. Ghost of Tsushima a 4 year old Playstation game was the #1 best selling game of the month Hellblade 2 released in and there was no other major notable released that month so its not like it had alot of competition or anything.
Between terrible console sales (it got outsold by the decade old potato Nintendo Switch as recently as june 2024 over 2:1) and putting games day 1 on gamepass for free, they now need to seek larger audiences that actually buy games to sell their games to. They need the playstation userbase to make any money back on their first party games
But Xbox doesn’t have any big games or any good exclusives /s

I’d guess it will be Bethesda games, namely Starfield but possibly the upcoming Indiana Jones, to boost sales. The Bethesda acquisition cost them quite a bit of money and they are probably looking for ways to make it more profitable since they are practically giving them away to anyone with an Xbox and gamepass.

Forza horizon would be amazing. Racing games are dead as hell on ps, xbox has forza horizon while PC has assetto corsa mods. Playstation doesnt really have any good open world racing games, you’re forced to play NFS or The Crew and neither of them anywhere near forza horizon in terms of quality.
Sounds like wishful thinking to be entirely honest. Why would either party want this, Sony already have Gran Turismo in it’s exclusive catalog – why would they want to showcase a competing product? Why would Microsoft want to renegotiate licensing for car images/lego/music for a nearly 3 year old game where they are probably working on the next entry?
It’d be more likely to be Redfall, Grounded or even Hellblade 2 than Forza or Starfield.
The article says its definitely NOT Forza Horizon but possibly Halo or Starfield
