
I'm one of the many many people who prefers the classic zombies formula (specifically Black Ops 3) and I have a couple of ideas for Treyarch that I think should be pretty simple and easy to implement! Feel free to comment and criticize or add your own ideas! I think maybe they could make these changes in a seperate mode called "Classic" or "Traditional" mode.
•Bring back classic movement, remove sliding and all aspects of omnimovement, also no tactical sprinting and make the base movement speed slower like older cod games
•completely redo the zombies health and damage values, just change the code. Type in a few different numbers or whatever it should be easy
•remove the mangler entirely I never want to see it again it's been way too overused, bring back forgotten classics like the hell hound!
•remove all perk changes and upgrades, and reintroduce the 4 perk limit
•i like gambling, the risk of wasting money is exhilirating, so bring back the liquid divinium system. to appeal to both sides of the fanbase mix some aspects of the bo4 elixirs into it! 🙂
•while i do prefer black ops 3 for the most part, i think zombies was at its peak in nacht der untoten, so just get rid of all the voice lines and go ahead and fire the actors too. use that budget instead to make hyper realistic liquid physics for the liquid divinium animations in the menu screens
•no reused assets from other modes. i dont like content from other modes in my zombies. so no armor or weapon tiers. also for good measure get rid of the raygun, that was repurposed from the campaign in world at war and it gives me ptsd for my veteran difficulty attempts.
•i dont like swimming or going underwater in zombies, so just get rid of all the water in terminus. this should be easy just program a code thingy to drain it all
•bring back carpenter. it was my favorite power up, it reminds me of better days with my papaw. he used to whack me with his hammer when i tried to talk to him. such a charming man, rip <3
if they do this then i will be very very happy. unless they do all these things zombies is DEAD to me. I will be BLOCKING treyarch AND jason blundell from my truth social account within 24 hours unless they acknowledge these requests. this should be easy like literally just copy and paste the world at war and black ops 3 code into black ops 6?? these developers have the time to make skins and clearly the people making cosmetics are the same team as the ones behind the zombies progression and balancing so just stop making skins and instead MAKE ME HAPPY

Side note: I love how the artist who made most of MGS’s cover arts also did some art for Zombies. So cool.
My suggestion: ZOMBIES. CHRONICLES. THREE. that’s right skip the second one we go straight to the third one

Idk if these comments were sarcasm or not so I’ll just write blatantly as if you were saying your desires.
1. No keep Omni movement as we can slide and dive. These were always things for zombies. Slaughter slide and PHD. But I wouldn’t mind slower characters and zombies. But zombies do need to have more classic movement, like they need to play a few games and have AI track the movement.
2. I’d agree on zombies health and damage and how it needs to eacilate.
3.On perks, I’d say Bops3 is standard and then they should do Cold War level ups with more perks. Like you should start with the decent models. Then yes, bring back the 4 perk limit and then have perk bottle power up return along side the perkaholic and such perks. Like make it difficult to have perkaholic. Heck, even have the wonder fizz go back to random perks instead of select. But add a code that the next perk can’t be the last 2 choices that have spawned.
4.I don’t mind gambling and gaining a reward via rolling for gum or grinding for research crystals or grinding guns for their mods after purchasing research but it needs to be an in game thing and not something you grossly monetize.
5.An you lost me, no 🤣 if there was a range of maps like excess in the aether cycle, sure. If there were outbreak side incidents, sure. But otherwise, no.
6. Yes they can re-yes assets but they can’t be the major points of the maps. Like take a traffic cone from X map and multiply it and put it in a blocked off room with a zombie for no reason, sure could be a side EE find. But other stuff like how Cold War handled the maps, gross and ridiculous. Granted die machine and Mauer did work and to some point fire base Z. But the rest were just too same that they didn’t fit as well. Also how dare you try to get rid of the ray gun!
7.Keep swimming and wall running and next to zero G 🙄 they are map features and help give the maps unique features.
8.yes bring back carpenter, it should be used for most walls and window openings and for basic armor and shields. Thats it, or take full power, switch out a sword for a sickle and have 1 as a hammer and add the effects of carpenter to it.
9.You have Jason’s socials? Please give them! We need to know it so we can pester him. He has been a ghost for years!
10.id say armor is a zombie drop not a wall buy and its just a 2 hit break. An shield should be buildable on the maps.
11.crafting should be throwables, self revive and stims only. Monkey bombs you get from monstrosities in the dark aether. An have ammo also drop from guard zombies on occasion.
12. Pap for ammo, damage should be infinite so long as you have the points. Ammo type should be random but a code that it can’t be the last 2 that were spun.
13.no more same mini boss zombies, we need unique ones like in this new map it is a margwa mimic in zombie bodies. I like it since it spawns others if not taken out.
14.load outs should be cosmetic only and you start with a starting pistol. (The OG belief is the character used their main gun and threw it away as they are backed into a corner and pull out a pistol. Grated I get it for most of Cold War but for stuff like Mauer where we wake up post operation and being captured, we should start with a pistol)
15.classic point system, bring it back. We don’t need the kill confirmed meta. Have us use guns in coordination with the rounds we complete.
16. Boss zombies need their own arena and not just a walled off part of the map. Like die machine, makes sense for the area. Fire base Z was BS that an orda suddenly spawned there, would have been better we drive and it smashes the car and we are in a unique area. Mauer, made sense it was an EE location. Same with forsaken.
17.No BS negative mods, in Cold War we got negative effect mods, mods should only build up the gun and not run it down. Take away negative effects.
18. Since the tutorial EE mode is happening 🙄 I wish there was a soft EE just to get pap and then hardcore for the rest of the map. That way it’s like Sker ritual.
