I’m starting my first Cyberpunk playthrough. I really enjoy hard copy guides like this while playing through an expansive game like this (used one for Fallout 4 and Elden Ring). But given all the changes the game has gone through and the 2.0 overhaul, I’m curious if this guide is still relevant, or if it’s really outdated?

The lore/flavor stuff is still fun to read but yep, everything about skills or game mechanics is more or less hopelessly outdated.
Part of it’s free here [https://www.piggyback.com/online-guide/cyberpunk-2077/en/](https://www.piggyback.com/online-guide/cyberpunk-2077/en/) so you can look for yourself though.
Have these “guides” ever been of any relevance? Everybody who has ever played any FPS game should be right at home in Cyberpunk really^^
It won’t have DLC. As far as missions and how to complete them etc that part it is still mostly valid.
Anything attributed to perk system, some
Newer weapons and vehicles etc all out dated.
No… but the lore is fantastic! Especially the hardback copy… it has an extra chapter of lore on Night City’s nightlife.
Have this. Lovely book. No info about liberty lots of lore stuff.
I have it and it’s amazing still tells you where everything in the game is so it’s still pretty useful I’d say 🎯💯‼️🤟🏾
dont think this sorf thing is relevant if they were written by the devs themselves 😛
Internet will provide more and better.
THERE’S A WHAT NOW?
Not at all, but it’s pretty and has lore and dirt cheap on Amazon.
Relevant no
As a time capsule of how things were and the bits of lore in it, it’s worth having.
The interactive map has been updated through PL (not sure if all copies come with the access code for that or only certain editions) so I’ve found that to be the most useful part.
Story and quests should generally be fine. Anything about perks, skills, and PL content is out of date.
The artbook is a better bet if you’re into worldbuilding and lore, just FYI.
I have it and it’s a great book. The perk system is totally different and some items have changed but the base missions, weapons, gigs, NCPD, and other base game stuff is very well documented. To your point is has no 2.0 stuff of course but still great for the rest.
Only for the lore and the sake of collecting, if you love the game that much. I personally kept my copy and used it a couple of time and I am hoping for another version with all the updates and the expansion. I like having a couple printed guides for my favourite games, it’s nice to have a real, tangible library instead of just picking your phone to check something.
A nice collectors item for sure.
I found it absolutely rivveting to read. Would reccomend.
It may be outdated, but it looks great on my coffee table.
I bought this book when the game came out.
Style over substance….. choom.
