I remember playing P.T. too! Those creepy hallways and that eerie atmosphere… Definitely a masterpiece in horror gaming. Kojima and Del Toro created a gem.

zimzalllabim
It has not been 10 years, has it? Oof, I’m old.
Galactic_Perimeter
I want to play it so badly…
Pain-_-Train
In that case, congratulations on your anniversary. It must have been a memorable experience to remember it so clearly.

Never forget that PT was a coded message to kojima productions employees from Kojima himself. Just why do you think Playstation wanted so badly to have it gone from the store?
crazy that to this day, generic horror games are still copying the exact formula as a 10 year old demo. Kojima really hit us with the “hallway-type” gaming
Bearawesome
Lol, I remember being too scared to play, so I watched a playthrough…that shit kept me up all fucking night
Significant-Bell2041
Gonna tell my grandkids about this
MrSheastBiggestFan
It’s one of the few let’s plays I can constantly go back to watching on YT and never get tired of it.

As a long time Silent Hill fan P.T. was like an answer to a prayer. The gods are cruel however.

Highly recommend looking up *Lance McDonald’s* experimenting in the game.
He gives an outside the player view look at what happens in the game during specific haunts.
One reveal was absolutely chilling to me.

If you weren’t around for this week in gaming history, the week it came out, it was a lot of fun. The Internet usually has everything figured out in a matter of hours when it comes to puzzles, but it legit took people 10 full days to get to the ending if I remember correctly. It was really fun to check in every day and get a little bit further than you could the previous day because someone, somewhere, had figured out the insanely random thing you had to do to get to the next step.

P.T? What’s the acronym stand for
Smoking-Posing
Wow I can’t believe it’s been 10 years. I still have the demo downloaded on my PS4
Moat_of_the_Sacked
Fuck Konami for removing it.
Edge80

For anyone that doesn’t know: If you claimed it before (as in it’s at least in your account as an owned game) you can use a workaround to download it.
Kojima wanting to chill with film folks like his codirector of Silent Hills is why MGSV was released so unfinished.
I know people like PT but there’s nothing to suggest he’d have finished the game or could have made a full length game anything nearly as good. Checkout his next game, Death Stranding, to see the garbage he puts out when left to his own. An excuse to hang out with Norman Reedus that time.

This would’ve brought back Silent hill in a big way if it had been made.
