
Mostly interested in memory performance of these new CPUs but couldn’t resist giving the CPU a little undervolt and letting it go nuts on cinebench. Thermal target of 90C and the PBO did a good job getting it there without slamming into the limit. Good scores compared to the wild variety of scores I saw in initial review benchmarks, and with a CPU package power of ~102W for r20 and ~103W for r23.
Memory speeds are a bit irrelevant to the cinebench scores but each high speed DDR5 kit I have tried was able to boot XMP 7200-8200 without issues. In the screenshot you can see I was running 2x16GB Hynix A die at 7200 with uclk=fclk=1800MHz for a 1:2, but more on that later
