Yorinobu choked the life out of Sabuto and Takemure went on to sweep the room.
2Absent_Mind2
Just started a new run and it still does.
NCC_1701E
The section with that giant robotic spider when saving Myers in PL. Since I specialized in stealth, that boss fight was kind of intense.
Specific_Flatworm_66
Phantom liberty betray songbird… every second got me having a heart attack
Hornet16
Sinnerman
Trash_Jones
The deal with Maelstrom really got me focused and breathing heavier than usual. Really felt like saying the wrong thing could get everyone in the room killed.
Monnomo
That one scene w netwatch guy, his argument was so convincing it tripped me tf out like who wrote this shit. Johnny being disappointed in u was just the cherry on top
mathanielmcclain
Fighting Adam smasher genuinely makes my adrenaline run probably best fighting gameplay in the game
Used-Abused-Confused
That piece of shit Ripperdoc that sold Evelyn Parker after the VooDoo boys got a hold of her. I blew his goddamn brains out even though it cost me a Ripperdoc. Human garbage and I never regret it.
House_Goblin_
Waking up naked in a bath tub in the same Scav crackhouse you find Sandra Dorsett in.
Wendell_wsa
One of the first missions, where you have to make a deal with Maelstrom, just one scene had already made me so tense
Slightly different from others’ replies. The thing that really set me off is the phone call from Judy that starts “Both Sides, Now.” I’m unfortunate enough to have been in the scenario depicted by that quest and they did a distressingly good job replicating every facet of that nightmare.
YukkaRinnn
Saving River’s nephew and those Kids as when i did that mission i did not give a fuck and tried to save dem kids as fast as possible (so fast in fact i ran through the damn minefield with no regard for human life lmao) and the scene of seeing all dem kids still in those incubator type things
Raisa_Alfera
It would’ve been that car chase with Jackie, but I played that way back when the game had tons of issues. All tension was removed by the game just deleting the sounds meant to be heard during that scene
spuldup
Jacking in in the Voodoo Boys hideout. Like, yeah, this is not going to go well…
Dambo_Unchained
Never go to this because I backed up Jackie on standing up lol
Seemed like me it’d smart to try and look strong and then everything went to shit immediately
NegativeCowpoke
My first (Don’t Fear) The Reaper run. One death, and it’s over. Super fuckin cool all the way through.
Marko-2091
1. The one with the Jesus fetish. I only did that quest once didnt like it.
2. The one when I rescued Evelyn. Usually I try to not kill enemies but jfc those bastards dismembering humans.
The best one: The one with Stout
Nymeros2077
The first scene meeting Johnny. The red lighting, him standing there looking into the distance hitting his head against the wall, then attacking you really freaked me out. As soon as I was able to save, I closed the game and it took a couple days before I could play again. I’m fine doing that scene now that I know about it, but it was *really* intense that first time.
Comfortable_Truck_53
Taking Fingers face and caving it in.
LongLiveTheCommune1
After Jackie got wounded and we were in the car and Smasher started running after us. I actually felt like I was chased by certain death.
Womz69
The firefight on the way to saving Meyers, perfectly timed all of my jumps and dashes to get there really fast and dodge everyone
Aldehin
Strangely, the 6th street party where you can get a gun
I was just wandering there, enjoying the nice ambiance and then those guys talk to me and asked me to fuck off.
I was first kind of “chill, guys, it s a party” and went slowly to the realisation that I have to kill to get me out of here.
Got me pumpin up and shoot my way out of there
minipiwi
The scene in PL where you have to decide who to side with. Literally paused my game for 5 minutes trying to decide.
Jeremy_Melton
Adam Smasher glancing at Jackie and V’s hiding spot numerous times during The Heist but doing nothing because he prefers a challenge. Also the car ride where we run into Smasher
Also the Chimera chase. I know If Cyberpunk would get a Dead By Daylight chapter (for whatever reason) they’d most likely pick Smasher as the killer but the Chimera gave off horror vibes.
Successful-Plan114
When that maelstrom chick got out of the bathtub.
BruiserBison
This scene was the most cooked gig they have so I’m not including it (Though I was rather stressed knowing nothing because I was playing blind).
For me, it’s the fight against the brawler in Glen for Beat on the Brat gig. This was on the first year Cyberpunk 2077 released so there were levelled areas and stuff. The dude’s got Berzerk and my V was full body with implants for melee but I only got Cyberdeck. Dude was intense pre-rework! Like, his eyes glow red, he emit red smokes, and I keep losing! Had to learn to properly parry and completely forget combo. Also got that implant installed that makes V explode EMP when health drops too low. Finally won but that was memorable. Too bad they’re all nerfed post 2.0.
Valaxarian
Songbird snapping in Firestarter. I was genuinely terrified
Historical-Method-27
Literally everything man. The Royce standoff, Yori offing the emperor, Mitch being held as a hostage, the first time you raid saka tower as Silverhand to plant the demolitron. Everything. It was fuckin amazing. And still is.
Professional_Cut9271
One of the cyberpsycho missions, with the lady in the tub. I was scanning for corpses and clues feeling that when I look back, there’s gonna be someone who will instantly stab me lol
Beardedgeek72
Same. My favorite early game sequence.
CommanderLJ
Ngl, in this scene i was actively trying to piss royce off on my first playthrough so i could zero him. And i have done the exact same every time since
Hetzerfeind
Gotta say I wanted more things like the Heist. If you don’t count the main missions there weren’t any multi mission strains of story were you planned to do something.
FridgeCarMD
the mission ‘Somewhat Damaged’. iykyk
whooooosh11
Whipping out the voodoo boys was pretty intense
Haravikk
Same. This really made clear that Cyberpunk 2077 wasn’t messing around, and I loved that.
aussiewlw
So was mine! And the All Foods mission was my nemesis for so long. I gave up on the game for like a year because I couldn’t figure out how to escape. But thankfully I decided to try again and learnt how to play the game better. Finished it over 5 times now 😂
Muteling
Cerberus.
I need not explain.
chappyandmaya
Probably when Dex shot me in the face
Hauptmann_Gruetze
Honestly, i failed to calm Jackie down because i was distracted and we just started to shoot everyone on sight.
Good Times.
TakenBytheLight
I switched up the dialogue a bit and told them they were being watched. You fight with them which I thought was badass.
ilGattoBipolare
He said yakitori is awful while I eat yakitori every week.
I am not happy.
UB_edumikated
I agree. I THINK the interactions with Royce was so good that it also sort of hurt the rest of the game where there just weren’t as intense set ups and interactions.
Soburu getting killed was also intense because the build of hiding and seeing it was so well done.

When you have to hide from smasher
