Is not scamming if, all the parties agreed to the swap. Is fair and square.

Brother was lost in the sauce, but that aint your fault lol. Hell of a trade up on your part, enjoy your new PC!

If both parties are absolutely fine with the trade, it’s not a scam. But yeah, you definitely got the better end of that deal—unless there’s something seriously wrong with that desktop that he didn’t mention. Either way, it seems a bit sketchy if you ask me.

Make sure everything works really well

You made out like a bandit. Guessing dude wanted a laptop for school or something that was capable of gaming

This ain’t a scam, this is robbery tier

This would be fishy as hell. Probably stolen or some scenario like that. This PC had a lot of care put into building it. The original owner wouldn’t trade it for a crappy laptop with those specs.

The AIO rad is upside down, make sure you fix that assuming it hasn’t already damaged the pump.

  11. Build brand new pc and say did I scam this guy on reddit for free karma. There’s no way this is used because there’s not a speck of dust in it

He did it to himself. Enjoy your new PC, it’s significantly faster 🙂

Nobody knows what the word scam means anymore 🤦‍♂️

I wouldn’t worry about. What’s done is done and he may have needed a laptop more than he needed a desktop and didn’t want to spend more money on another computer.

You traded an item of lesser value for an item of greater value that’s a good trade. Ideally, for both parties, a trade should be of equal, but it most definitely doesn’t have to be.

    Thats on him lol

Scamming is when you are lying, if you lied about your specs, yes you scammed him, but if he knew all parts and specs of the laptop, thats just an awesome deal lol
