Significantly less. It’s just another Cold War. That’s the direction we are going in now. They can bait us with nostalgia all they want, but it’s clear they have no intention of returning to Black Ops 3 style gameplay.

  2. More, all I want is for the future maps to have their own identity. I was already fine and even enjoyed the mechanics of Cold War, but them being fine tuned definitely has me interested to play.

  3. was expecting new gameplay but its just a cold war rehash

i understand thats not necessarily a bad thing and i liked cold war myself but there were just a million things i disliked

the points system, loadouts, the hud (customizable now), zombie loot, armour and scorestreaks etc

i was super excited at the time of the announcement but following the gameplay trailer its really just been put to rest, probably not gonna buy it either

Probably less, although my hype was at the floor anyway. I struggle to have any faith after the years since BO4 (which is incredibly over hated, and I love dearly). The amount of returning Cold War elements really put me off, like salvage and score streaks. The maps look much higher quality at least, and the addition of having the guided EE release after a month or so whilst making it generally harder makes me more inclined to play. Cold War was too handholdy but from what they’ve said, it seems like they’re striking a better balance this year. I’ll try it on gamepass and see how it goes

It was reaching sky-high now it’s rock bottom.

It seems like even though they want to take zombies in a new direction they are at least trying to make it more fun for fans of the old styles. I wish gun tiers were gone and the old system of every hit = 10 points but I’m excited regardless. There’s a new perk, 2 new maps, there’s a new crew with their own story, and I didn’t ask to turn into a mangler but it still looks fun to try.

Only thing getting me hyped is Milos journey. I just can’t trust Activisions marketing anymore, they dissapointed me year after year. They could release the biggest news ever, I wouldn’t care. I’ll make my decision to buy or leave after it’s been playtested by the community and youtubers.

Personally, I believe some people have bad taste when it comes to new changes

The same. It looks just like what I expected, Cold War 2.0. That’s neither a good or a bad thing. I like a lot of aspects of CW, I just hope they’ve fixed some of its major issues like zombies being way too easy, MP being way too sweaty and the campaign just being far less amibitious and smaller in scope than previous Black Ops games. Only way I’m going to get more excited is if they address some of those issues.

I’ve gone from 100% not buying the game thinking the game will follow the same shite we’ve had for the past almost Decade to seeing Zombies and being actually excited, the last cod game I enjoyed was B03 but that was only for zombies.

The last multiplayer I actually had fun on was Ghosts and over the last few years I had lost all interest in the franchise especially with all the micro transactions making the game pathetic in my opinion with all the stupid character skins really ruined the feel/aesthetic of the franchise I once enjoyed.

I’m not getting my hopes up.

To me, Zombies ended a long time ago in BO4.

In Multiplayer of BO4, Mason and Woods’ stories were meh but they kind of made Woods into a meme.

Cold War’s Campaign was nostalgia bait garbage and the voice actors missed their marks entirely on Mason and Woods. The takedowns were so try hard that it’s painfully obvious how the devs really wanted to be better than the OG games and rub it in your face.

Cold War’s ”Zombies” was pretty much just Fortnite with fast zombies where the devs hold your hand for the entirety of the EE quest.

And the fact that CODs have been terrible for years makes me lose hope entirely about the continuation of the Mason family storyline.

    More.
I could care less about the HUD and what-not
    I just wanna kill zombies

I want to be hype, but I also don’t want a bo4 launch with just crashing and so many issues and I love bo4 l, but at launch it was bad and with them adding so much stuff I have a gut feeling the launch will be bad as is usually the case, but I don’t want the game to suffer and then stuff is either canceled or just not added. I want this game to succeed and thrive I really do l, but with stuff like the save game I feel like its going to cause bugs, if they can iron out the glitches fast then it would be fine, but it usually takes them a bit. I hope I have to eat my own words because I feel like this could be a good game if done right.
