Fun Fact: People criticise things because they like them and want them to get better!

If only it was that black and white. In the modern age people hate and establish preformed opinions, unwilling to accept things that are not exactly the way they want. The same is true on the other side with people blindly glazing unable to see why people don’t like what they like. Nothing is in moderation anymore, civil discussion is dead. It’s either one extreme or another and if you’re not with them then you’re against them. Almost all the discussion around BO6 so quickly devolves into the game either being the worst or the best thing ever made. The game isn’t even out yet, I worry what the discussion will turn to once it is.

  2. I don’t know man, half the critiques are just “I don’t like this they should, remove it”.

Like a good example is Salvage. There  are people losing their minds over salvage and dropped loot. I really don’t get it when IW seems well liked and it had loot you could get from zombies, and Spaceland had the ticket system not unlike salvage.

Speaking of IW zombies, that should tell you how genuine a lot of critiques in the zombies community are. People hated that game essentially because the Treyarch logo wasn’t on the box.

I disagree with the take of Cold War, have a negative impact

If BO6 is going to be like BO3 and Cold War combined then people are not gonna like it, which is fine

But people have to understand there’s never going to be a classic zombies

Classic zombies stop being a thing since BO2…

BO6 seems to be the product of those criticisms. They’re directly addressing so many of the criticisms we’ve all had about Zombies for several years now. EEs designed to be too easy? Here’s a guidance mode for those who need the extra help so we can design EEs like we used to. HUD too invasive? It’s customizable. Maps lack personality? Here’s a map that resembles Mob with a Cthulhu-tinged environment and Dark Aether aspects within. Cast lacks personality? Here’s a core cast that acts as the canon characters moving forward.

Every time I have a complaint, I see it directly addressed by the developers. It’s like voicing our criticisms actually worked this time around and they actually listened for once. The past couple of games felt like cash grabs while this is the first Zombies game I’ve been excited for since BO4’s trailers. It feels like a return to form.

Don’t stop critiquing, but don’t blindly complain either. This game should be the proof of our critiques.

No no, you are an elitist and if you love the old games so much you should go play them instead. But no, you come here and start bitching about the smallest things ever, jeez.

  6. joeplus5

That would be valid if half the criticisms weren’t just people wanting a carbon copy of BO3

Nah Cold War introduced a lot of things that are either neutral or positive. Rarity and salvage is fine because we don’t have double tap (which I do miss), and the surge of hate over Cold War is only happening now because purists either can’t except change or evolution within the mode or keep crying about the HUD (which you can customize and turn off parts of btw)

  8. Ryanll0329

My only issue is that alot of the things people don’t like about Cold War *are* things that have already been fixed or improved for Black Ops 6

  9. Expert_Reward_720

Can we all agree to stop posting that fucking annoying “QUIT HAVING FUN!!!” meme template?

It is the most insecure thing I have ever seen.

  10. Derp_Cha0s

There’s certainly valid criticism but there’s also horrific ones too. A lot of the displeasure some have stated it how it’s strayed away from the original formula, and they can be valid.

But one I heavily disagree with is the old health system for zombies returning. BO4 capped the health amd allows for many different ways to progress and would be disheartening if it was removed.

  11. Feels like im in the minority but i really liled CW Zombies and wouldnt mind BO6 being simillar

  12. Animeted_Eric

I’m perfectly okay with people having legit and fair criticisms for sure I have a few myself for Bo6, however from atleast my experience a lot of people are not making these criticism they are being complete assholes to people are genuinely excited for the game.

Saying they have shit taste or just calling them stupid for even thinking about having a positive outlook on Bo6.

I’ve been playing zombies since Shi No Numa was released on WaW, and I’ve seen people be split on new games, but this is another level of people just being rude.

Again, I’m totally fine about having fair critiques but just be respectful that’s all I’m saying

  13. mattadeth

Toxic positivity and corporate kiss-ass forgiveness is a bad look. I paid $100 for a broken game (BO4). For a month after launch, we were plagued with constant game crashes. And ever since then we have been given severely mediocre zombies games. We have full reason to be critical. I feel misled and robbed.

  14. Lenny_Fais

I’m gonna say it, Origins was the beginning of the decline

  15. jenkinsmi

tbf when it comes to BO6 I think people have been fairly reasonable, people giving it a chance, appreciating the work on the cold war features.

  16. OneShotCee

I agree but not when you’re tryna just have a nice convo about the game or something you enjoy in the game and then you get met with “well I think the future of zombies is ruined” and whatnot, just let me enjoy what I enjoy

  17. Falchion92

I see more people bitching about the new stuff than I do the old stuff and it pisses me off because they could just go play exactly what they want from Zombies and let me enjoy the improvements Cold War made.

  18. biscuitman2122

Difference between constructive criticism and shitting on a game before it’s even been released lol

  19. TheSaintRobbie

You can reverse these positions and still be the same

  20. Club_Penguin_420666

How do you criticise something that hasn’t come out yet?
You may hace concerns but you can’t say something for certain just yet

  21. Unlucky-Scallion1289

I really wouldn’t mind it if zombies was the exact same thing every year. Multiplayer already is like that, why not zombies? AW zombies, extinction, and IW zombies were so good *because* they copied the core elements of zombies, not for the innovations they made.

But I also don’t mind if they try to innovate, it’s just not necessary and they shouldn’t try to fix what isn’t broken. Adding new features is a good thing, taking away features that has been a part of the mode forever is not a good thing.

  22. AJM10801

“I think the a lot of the changes made to zombies since BO3 have been bad”

“Oh so you think change is bad? You just want the same game year after year?”

    “What?”
