I bought this ssd with a good price.. And I am very shocked how it's really looks like the original Samsung .. I just recognised it after the test using Samsung Magician software.. the ssd box was new and sealed.. you can't notice any difference between them.
Hard drive forgers are getting smarter.

Got screwed on Amazon about 4 years ago on a Samsung. I switched to Sabrent direct.
Kind of curious what it looks like under the sticker compared to the real one. Reminds me of some WD blue 2.5″ sata drives i saw over on ebay. I was curious since the seller sells a lot of various fake SSD’s so i checked the SN over on WD’s site and it links to a 2230 NVME or something. Pretty suspicious.
I am assuming the 500GB came out of the 1TB box, wasn’t that a red flag?
almost grabbed an open box deal on a 2tb drive from newegg. the price was really good and then i remembered the post from yesterday where someone used a sharpy to colour the blue black lmao
You can tell first one by missing chip near slot.
It’s on box but not on ssd.
But I only noticed because I have many samsung ssds.
By the box alone i would get scammed
I wonder is this what I got. A couple of years ago I bought a Samsung SSD for a new build. When I booted up there was already Windows installed on it with someone else’s name on it. I didn’t trust it and replaced it and moved on. This makes me wonder if it was one of these knock offs though.
What does it say under magician where it normally says genuine drive?
