Look, if it turns on you are kinda ok, check if any other things are damaged , because of the location of the burn , I recommend replacing the battery just to be on the safe side.

Lithium batteries can’t be put out, you could have easily lost your entire house to a fire because no amount of water would have helped till the battery stopped being a source of energy.
