No, the gold background denotes iconic, there’s nothing that denotes whether they’re wall weapons or not, you have to look up a list (or just hoard all iconics till you fill the wall lol).

Some guns are blueprints iconic and the only way to get them is by taking out crime organizations all over night City and they’re easy to miss

So there are two parts to the Iconic Wall if you’re in the main apartment.
The right hand side is made up of iconics you’re meant to craft. These you get from the NCPD organized crime missions.
The wall directly in front of you *used* to be weapons from specific individuals. So if you take or get a specific person’s weapon, such as from Dex, Judy, Saburo, Johnny etc., chances are it goes on the wall.
I’m not sure about that last part now since they’ve added the expansion, but that’s always a good place to start from.

Most of the stash wall Iconics are quest rewards for progressing the main plot, completing every fixer gig in town, every romanceable character’s quest line, and many of the NCPD dispatched jobs have Iconic crafting specs

Gold background means they’re iconic which means there’s only one source for that weapon.
Weapon wall only displays certain iconics, not all.

Simple answer is yes, long answer is that not all of the “gold background” guns show up one the wall, but all of the ones on the wall will have that gold background.
