Honestly, haptic suits are not what AR, VR needs. It needs better and cheaper tracking solutions for stuff like face, hands, etc

People complain about how long updates take when they want to play games. Now they’re going to have to change clothes? How washable are these going to be? How must adjustment to fit your body?
This idea seems extremely niche and inconvenient. Most people don’t even play their VR headsets after awhile because of what a PITA they are.

Probably for the same reasons why VR is floundering. The tech is there, and only getting better, but consumers are still hesitant to spend a lot of money on something that has very few popular use cases, especially in this economy.
