Been replaying the Arkham games and it got me thinking, Batman is so strong in these games but how would he fair in 2077.
Rules:
Batmans no Kill rule will apply in all Scenarios (even for Maelstrom since they are still Humans)
For scenario all Scenarios, Batman will start with all gadgets he has at the end of Arkham Knight which include Batarangs, remote controlled Batarangs, the disruptor gun, Batclaw, smoke pellets, remote hacking device, voice synthesiser, remote electrical charge, explosive gel, line launcher and freeze grenades. For scenario 3 he will also have the remote controller for the Bat mobile.
Batman will not have any Chrome at all. I think this will keep things more fair as you could just give him Gorilla arms and a Sandevistan and he would absolutely obliterate any foe he faced in 2077 so that's not an option for any Scenario
Scenario 1- Batman appears in Night City with no knowledge of where he is and must learn and adapt to his situation. Wayne Corp does not exist and he must use the tools he has on hand to fight crime. He does not have the Batmobile. If he can figure out how 2077s tech works, he may upgrade his Gadgets he has on hand to be more effective/ more suited to handling 2077s threats
Scenario 2- same as Scenario 2 but he has prior knowledge of where he is and what he's up against. Wayne Corp does not exist and no access to batmobile.
Scenario 3- Batman appears in Night City with Prior knowledge of Night City. Wayne Corp will appear with Batman as an existing Mega Corp owned by Batman/ Bruce Wayne and he has full access to it to help fight crime. He also has access to the Bat Mobile. Batman may upgrade his Gadgets and suit with 2077s tech along with Developing any new gadgets to help him fight crime via Wayne Corp.

He’d have little effect on crime honestly. All the gangers have no fear of death or injury.
He WOULD be able to survive encounters with little trouble though. Batman enemies have also been superhuman in a lot of his games. Using electricity, guns, and weapons that do crazy damage. So batman would be able to fight even maelstrom pretty easily. He couldn’t be hacked himself but he 100% could hack every enemy easily as well. And he probably has endless EMP grenades to shut down enemy chrome.
He would have even more issues than in year one with the cops. Outfits like trauma team would make dealing with higher level criminals difficult. Ais and the blackwall would also be a big issue to deal with.
Add in the corps and how vicious they are his alter ego would be on the defense all the time as well cutting into ability to be batman.
Honestly I feel he would be completely, utterly ineffectual; both as Batman and Bruce Wayne.
I don’t think he would die to anything seen in Night City, but he’s also not going to tip the scales in an appreciable way.
The guy’s a billionaire.
He would have all kinds of gadgets at his disposal to take down any gonk.
As some one who only played cyberpunk I see one problem with scenario 1 and 2( but less 2)
Having his identity hidden would be a problem night city has cameras every where, and as a netrunner I can scan every person that I can see thanks to a implant from the Doc (the police databank thing)
So I wonder if he could fight against face recognition, remember V has a implant/ software that Batman doesn’t have.
Also Batman may have the problem scaling his Wappens in a first encounter with the animals and under skin armor and enhanced muscular and bone structure because he is used to normal humans but they are running tanks
Also netrunner may interfere with all his Teck, he can’t be targeted with quick hacks but his armor and gatches may be Vulnerable to attacks or not you may argue that his Teck would be to old-school to be attacked ( the same way modern Kevlar body armor is to bow and arrow
Another thing does Batman’s body armor stop Teck Wappens that can piece concert
Batman will clearly have access to all cyberware in Night City. So in the fashion of a hunter he will survey the ground, whats on it and how it all fits together. Then when he emerges, no one stands a chance. He’ll just use every cyberware better. He’d have the most dangerous gorilla arms anywhere. And every encounter with him would be humiliating because he would leave you paraplegic, brain damaged etc but will not intentionally kill you.
He’d adapt his mind was his greatest weapon gang members are still drugged up idiots he’d find their weakness & exploit it with little effort.
