There’s always something weird going on with the borderlands franchise. Randy Pitchform has his stinky claws all over that
It’s amusing how these shitshows come to existence. PG-13 was certainly a bad sign, but I feel they could have made it work somewhat. The original MK movie from 1995 was PG-13. While it was certainly not that great, it was fun for what it was, and the crew did really bust their ass to make it, going to Thailand, making unique locations, the Goro suit + puppeteering. Wont get into the BL casting, since it was been said a million times at this point.
