I had to rewind the episode, I was like how hard is it to google an image of a functioning PC, it doesn’t even have a cpu lol…

What the, they couldn’t even put a random junk PC there and went to the efforts of buying a gaming MoBo?!
DarkTenchi12
Lol

IDK anything about this show but they’ll scrape together whatever they can to make props for shows.
In the Expanse, a scifi show, I saw these really old laptop cooling pads from the early 2000s mounted on the walls of some maintenance shaft.
I think it’s both neat and funny. Since if you don’t know it’s just neat tech stuff, but if you know it’s like “You clever bastards”
But in this case I’m going to guess it’s not scifi it’s just “Uhhhh here, it’s a fancy computer” and threw parts into a box

They use that to crack a billionaireās crypto wallet I think lol

I imagine the prop master got a free motherboard after filming with this was done, dude probably planned a build around it and found an excuse to get the show to buy it for him.

Billions is a great show and I never noticed this offense while watching it. Upon inspection, they should be ashamed of themselves for trying to pass that off, especially considering the subject matter of the show caters to more intelligent/educated people.

The RAM sticks are oddly enough in the right configuration for dual channel for whatever reason. You know, aside from one of them being backwards.

Hey, at least there’s two sticks of RAM, and placed in the correct slots at that.
Liferescripted
Hey, that’s my motherboard.
Except mine has a cpu with a cooler and GPU and an nvme. And I managed all of my cables. Even plugged all of them in. And mounted it… normally.

Seems to be missing something
