If you insist on continuing to use Chrome, then switch to [uBlock Origin Lite](https://chromewebstore.google.com/detail/ublock-origin-lite/ddkjiahejlhfcafbddmgiahcphecmpfh). It is the new uBlock Origin extension for Chrome that is compatible with the manifest V3 changes. The developer of uBlock Origin will not continue development of the uBlock Origin on Chrome anymore so you either use the new “Lite” extension or switch to Firefox.

Switching to Firefox two years ago was a good move. Its an easy switch, just do it
Even if it’s probably a reskinned Chrome, I switched to Brave and never looked back, it’s especially great on mobile with it’s built in adblock. Firefox is my second choice.
Saw the writing on the wall a couple of years ago and switched back to Firefox. Aside from a slightly less convenient (at least in my opinion) set of developer tools I have had 0 downsides.
Why are people still using Chrome in the first place?

Just a couple of days ago I uninstalled Chrome and when they asked for feedback, I wrote something like “I will be switching to Firefox thanks to you dumping Manifest V2” and left negative answers to “would you recommend Chrome to anyone” questions. I urge everyone to do the same

Stuff like this is exactly why I left Chrome for Firefox years ago. Haven’t any issues with Firefox since I made the switch.
The web is practically unusable without adblockers given that ads cover nearly the entire screen on some pages. The existence of malvertising doesn’t help either.
Chrome is such a terrible web browser anyways. Any self respecting individual should have stopped using Chrome ages ago, let alone in 2024.
