>As of now, I don’t have anything concrete to comment on because I have not received clear evidence regarding Joel’s ban. All I’ve been told is “trust us, it’s legit,” which isn’t enough for me to make a judgement. Until there is 100% proof of guilt, I stand by my player as their coach and as someone they look up to. I believe in the importance of fairness in our game, and I am strongly against cheating in any form.

Dissapointing to see such a legend defend a blatant cheater….

Good statement as a coach.

GuardiaN is man of integrity, so if this is his stance then I very much respect it.
As much as I distrust Joel and resent how he’s squandered every opportunity he’s ever had. Due process needs to be followed, the organisers have no reason to withhold the details of his ban and prove beyond a shadow of a doubt what he did and how he was caught.

Styko tweeted that he watched 6 demos and said it was hard for him to find something concrete, I also watched 2 demos myself and it was hard for me to find anything super suspicious, not saying he didn’t cheat since he got caught by arkos, but he was really good at hiding it

Statement in itself is good for a coach, not jumping to conclusion.
Only thing I don’t understand is he acts as if everybody was in the dark and waiting for more info, why don’t you ask your player directly ?
I mean Joel is a member of your team and you have direct contact with him.
If it was a case of a null/bind script or a genuine explication, why does Joel not tell that to you ?
The fact that Joel is silent on the issue and that nobody in the organization seems to be relating a conversation with the player tends to make me think he is indeed cheating.
It’s good to wait for the result of the investigation but maybe just approach your player as well to see if he at least denies the allegation or straight up confess

Considering the legendary status GuardiaN has, it was disappointing for him to be willing to coach a matchfixer who was already known to be fishy by everyone in the pro scene. As the coach for the team, it isn’t like he has any option but to defend ‘his player’ in the situation now though.
