Used to play it, i even became a valorant caster for a gaming community for a while, but my heart was never in it, I was never a fan of those types of games, i like freedom of movement that’s why i stick to playing fps games like planetside 2, battlefield v, apex legends, etc. but the last straw for me was when the whole e-boy and e-girl shit started taking over valorant, you know those girls who try to speak higher than a boiling kettle and those guys who makes their voice lower and just sounds like a budget discounted stock clearance version of sam elliot. When that shit happened it annoyed the fuck outta me so i hop out of the community and never looked back lol

Valorant helped me quit Dota though. I am thankful. Now i only waste 30 mins a game not 1 hour

Haters gonna hate. game has a thriving esports community plenty of funding and is a hardcore tac shooter that girls actually wanna play. skins are expensive and there’s a bit of toxicity and it has a kernel anticheat, but it is mostly cheater free, is tapped into its community, and is only more mature as it grows. the game actually takes and rewards skill, has a good game feel (if you actually know what you are doing) and has a great map pool. devs and pros from cs and others came to make this game, wasnt a bunch of league QAs in a basement with a wrench. csgo players can keep crying, wont make valve neglect you any less

As an avid player it’s nice to see it in around the city. Hopefully we get an event here too.
