So we were playing Premier and since the addition of London servers I’ve been getting really nice 18 ~ 20 ms why would the game route me through Amsterdam to connect to London servers with the extra sweet 10 ms, 505ms faster is impossible xD

That just mean theres a routing problem at the time you were playing the match.
I used to have routing problems too, somehow the routing straight to singapore is way worse than though hongkong and then to singapore. I tried to reach some sites straight to singapore and yes, there is indeed a problem. Turns out the underground cables malfunctioned and it takes a few days to solve.
Would you rather play with 500ms ping just because you think its closer and has to be better at that period of time or would you rather enjoy your 29ms ping until the routing problem is fixed?

Idk London servers be buggin. Me and my buddies actually experience problems on London servers we do not get in other nearby European servers

There’s been a routing issue in the game for months now from what I’ve seen. I’ve never personally experienced it, but very rarely people get routed through the wrong server.

Man no other game has given me issues so I never knew it was even a thing but shitty ass CS2 has made me learn a lot about networking
I even learned how to use pingplotter and stuff so I now I use it whenever I have other network issues

Most ISP’s mask your location by publishing your IP from their data center. How you are routed is also dependent on your ISP contract with other ISP’s.
So I’m guessing your ISP is publishing your IP/location from another region which Steam is overriding by routing you through Amsterdam.
