It’s a Carrom board. A layout from the Carrom Company used for their crown combination game board.
DAT_DROP
Carrom, it uses checkers that you slide into others to knock them in the pockets
IllegallyClumsy
It looks sort of like a crokinole board with the pegs around the middle and the centre hole. Did it come with little round pieces too?
ImCursedM8
Looks like carrom but is a bit weird than a regular carrom board
Arrabbiato
My grandparents had one when I was little. They called it pocket snooker.

It looks like crokinole except crook should be on a round (or octagonal) board, not a square one with snooker pockets!

For those being bombarded with misinformation, this is NOT a crokinole board. Crokinole boards look like this: https://www.google.com/search?client=ms-android-verizon-us-rvc3&sca_esv=ee98ebe28384d87e&sxsrf=ADLYWIJGdIfXRyYX_I5U2MLtMziZGpfkGw:1722742831210&q=crokinole+board&udm=2&fbs=AEQNm0DvD4UMlvdpwktgGj2ZHhIXtktV_n5Sb1mPlHT0eDBk5faF3ImG5oZJr5rf6kvWlv6RrSE9ZEnR-uPvZ-Gdo0VHVL3PAFln__KzpbeoyfgL8jBGLdUxpHok-PTEc6JGdU96qrKHX-uGKM-885G-sAJubreJ2aJxDxeazEGMIhv0fzajo1MIB1VUTQHoiS8PF6BH5dUuik91peY3KDIuf7L8fAiQGQ&sa=X&ved=2ahUKEwi2hPmTtdqHAxU5FVkFHQ_uEv4QtKgLegQIEhAB&biw=412&bih=1050&dpr=2.63
It is indeed a carrom board (they have the distinctive pockets in the corners and look like this: https://www.google.com/search?q=carrom+board&client=ms-android-verizon-us-rvc3&sca_esv=ee98ebe28384d87e&udm=2&biw=412&bih=723&sxsrf=ADLYWILRn3H9Na_26KBBA-9GYMoVB_wR4Q%3A1722742832688&ei=MPiuZtLVKaie5NoP4KrmmQE&oq=carrom+board&gs_lp=EhNtb2JpbGUtZ3dzLXdpei1zZXJwIgxjYXJyb20gYm9hcmQyCBAAGIAEGLEDMgUQABiABDIFEAAYgAQyBRAAGIAEMgUQABiABEj3OlDdE1i1LXABeACQAQCYAY0BoAH4CaoBBDEzLjK4AQPIAQD4AQGYAgigAuUEwgIEECMYJ8ICDRAAGIAEGLEDGEMYigXCAgoQABiABBhDGIoFwgIGEAAYBxgewgIHEAAYgAQYDZgDAIgGAZIHATigB_Uz&sclient=mobile-gws-wiz-serp) BUT with crokinole pegs and markings. This is a somewhat common hybrid board that (in theory) allows you to play both games. Like most things that try to do multiple things at once, it does neither well.
Source: I’m Canadian and have been playing crokinole for over 50 years. This is NOT a crokinole board.

It’s a crokinole board (might have misspelled it) we had one in a bar I used to work out that was Irish themed and I remember one of my coworkers said it’s Canadian and that it was super funny to have there and looked up how to play it and was actually pretty fun. Totally forgot about this until now

My grandparents have had one of these hanging on the wall as a decoration for years. Never knew what it was until now.

Wow! I haven’t thought about that game in almost 50 years. We had one in the seventies. Ours had red and green plastic rings.

Ive always know this as a Crokinole board (I know the Canadian style is a round board). My parents had one (not exactly like this) and we played it often in my youth; it was from my Texas German side. No one ever played “carrom” on it, or at least never called it that ( I should probably look it up and see if Ive been inadvertently been playing it all these years lol). The one we had was handmade and had no alternate side, probably made before the 1960’s. [Ours looked like this.](https://i.imgur.com/8wZyGuF.jpeg)
One black ring (like a pool 8 ball) in the center in a carved out pocket in the center of the board, green and red rings that you were trying to score and white shooter rings. Ours had a line draw in a square pattern on the board running corner pocket to corner pocket that you shot from (not shown on this one). You put all the colored rings in the center and everyone took turns shooting it with their white shooter ring. The pegs had surgical tubing over them and were quite effective bumpers.
I presume ours was some hybrid rule game based on the Canadian style.

It’s got the roundel and pegs of a Crokinole board, but the square edges and pockets of a Carrom board.
I’m mildly confused.
