first 3 photos are how my paste was spread, i am using a brand named JLJ, the company that makes it also made sy 157 thermal compound, i decided to spread it due to its high viscosity, i am a bit concerned about the mount, at the top of the chip there seems to be excess thermal compound, im not sure if its just due to the way i removed the cooling assembly or is the chip itself uneven at the center

Yes. Laptop cpu are soldered to mb. They don’t have the bending issue.
