  1. Name checks out. If it falls, you will have u/InfinityPainPlus

Awesome idea….but how do you turn it on?

Perfection! Been thinking about something like this for a while. Keep your PC in a different room and get rid of the noise, lights and everything else. Alas, it is not to be since I own a gaming laptop. But perhaps, with a really long HDMI cable and wireless keyboard/mouse combo….

At least this will stop anyone from touching your pc

  5. Hmasteryz

Nice room heater there, kinda expensive but it works.

  6. I wanted to do this for a long time. Nice!

Not so much the open case, but just putting my rig on the other side of my office wall. The heat build-up in my office when gaming is unbearable sometimes, and it would be absolutely silent. No fans, pumps, etc. to hear all day long.

Love it, as long as its accessible and properly attached it’s a great way to get heat *and* noise out of the room.

Put a mattress on the floor or something that thing is falling πŸ’€

  9. Plot twist, PC is in the neighbor’s staircase cause he’s always cold πŸ˜„

Im pretty sure hot air is just gonna rise to the top and is gonna accomplish nothing, maybe put it near the floor?

LOL. Mine is in a closet, but it’s climate controlled at 68f and it’s 25% humidity.

Pretty neat solution! I hope it doesn’t fall either, I’d be worried like hell.

These posts always make me feel like I’m spoiled with good central AC and a well-insulated house. I’ve got two PCs in my living room often gaming at the same time, and they’ve never made the room hot.

    Time to clean the PC…

    *gets 12ft ladder*

  14. slicky13

its gonna be a pain to troubleshoot. idk how hot it is where you live but here in my building on the second floor, no insulation it gets to a max off 31c ambient with a 29c average in the afternoon. if your room is lower you should be okay.

  15. Wall mounts would be cooler if there was a panel concealer for the cables/wiresπŸ‘πŸ»

dumb. out of site out of mind. any kinda of service or needing to reseat something would be a pain in the ass. also upgrades pain in ass. usb keyboard stop working and needs to be replugged pain in the ass.

  17. EazyE030

You normally put the heat on in one room and the AC on in the other?

  18. NaelumAnacrom

Handy when you have to access the mobo… 🀣

  19. I’ve been tempted to move my setup to the other side of the room so I can do essentially this as well.
