Great, I just built a new system with a 3060 -2 weeks ago. I don’t game much anymore, so it was a tossup between A 6750 and the 3060. The 6750 jumped in price on the 3060 went down. I’ve also been using exclusively Nvidia stuff since the early 2000’s and have read too many posts about AMD GPU problems.

I have had a 3060 since they launched. I have zero complaints about the card. I just hope the 5060 is not a giant turd.
I could not even justify getting a 4060.

I got 3060 about 2 years ago. And it was already expensive But not as expensive during shortage.
Im skipping all generations till the card dies or I buy new pc for kid.

I got a 3060 ti after waiting in EVGA’s queue (RIP), and actually made it to the front of 2 queues for different models and stuck with one and gave the spot to a cousin for the other. I love the cars for just barely over MSRP at the time and don’t see myself needing to upgrade anytime soon since I made the jump to 1440p at the same time. Sucks to see a good card leave and we can only hope that their new budget options are decent.

Had my Ti for a few years, fantastic card that absolutely destroys 1440 gaming, the vram could be a little more but Im playing virtually any game I want at max settings over 60fps as long as I don’t crank ray tracing to the absolute max

Managed to grab one. An upgrade would means 4070ti 16gb 3x price 2x performance tx no tx. Hope to do ai stuff and games like metro exodus 4k forever. 5000 series will be 9months now and pricely cause 5060 is 8gb 128bit

My 3060 laptop is king to me. Doesn’t do the fancy Ray Traced stuff but I don’t really care too much. I can play anything I want smoothly, runs cool and undervolted it barely goes past 85 watts while performing like a 95-100W variant, while staying at 70°C. Not a single reason for me to upgrade yet.

They are retooling the manufacturing equipment for 5k series, so this is expected.

they can only do so many production runs.. just cuz theyre not making it anymore doesnt mean anything other than theyre not making it anymore. i imagine in 5 years from now it will still run games just fine. the things that seem to be maxing out the current gen cards are bells and whistles you dont even need to enjoy a game. like ray tracing and 4k graphics at 120 FPS .. 1080 or 1440p no raytracing for life even with my 4070 super (its the current sweet spot price/performance for anyone considering a 40 series)

Still have my 3060 12gb in a spare rig, it’s solid for 1080P, was a step up from the 1060 3gb. I’ve seen quite a few on the local market also lately. It’s been a few years and perhaps 4060 8gb are not moving as well.
