Modded my sister’s 3DS and now I’m replaying Spectrobes again! Such a fun experience
It certainly is. Grabbed mine out of storage about 6 months ago and it’s running amazing despite my 7 year old putting it through its paces.
I used my OG DS recently for a playthrough of Golden Sun (GBA). Some of the pixels had died on one of the screens but I got through the game on one battery charge. That thing is a fighter alright
After having a DS for almost 20 years now, I agree they both are spectacular machines. I was a kid when I first got mine, and I can still rock it after all these years. Naturally, the battery is not doing good, but I can still play some games when it is plugged in.
3DS is a great handheld to run emulators.
