Did you try enabling the crosshair dot?
Should be one of the first 3 crosshair options iirc. Or “cl_crosshairdot 1” in the console.
The crosshair dot does not move with the recoil, only the crosshair itself does. Not sure why but that’s your answer, if you want this enable crosshair dot
He states that this is during the beta, and I think they removed it. There is an option to have it off for only on pistols using aliases, which is the next best thing.
