    If you’re not pushing your hardware to the thermal limits, you’re not going to do fuck all for performance. Even AMD does this these days, their CPUs basically boost until the cooler can’t handle it, if you let it.

    I built several 9900K. Not even the Noctua NH-D15 could stop them from thermal throttling.
