I used to lock my room door, and not let them in. Or, if they were visiting for a couple of days, I would remove the power supply cord, and take it with me, so they could not mess it up.
I learned that the hard way the first time it happened. Never again.

My parents invited some friends over who had kids, One was an older teen maybe 16-17, other was younger, maybe 12-13, and I let them play BeamNG on my PC. In a rush, we all needed to go eat supper. Once we were done, I was talking with the other adults, and they disappeared. Didn’t even notice. When the parents wanted their kids back, I go up to find them on my PC playing a game (can’t remember what it was). I was shocked and ushered them down without causing a scene. Later told my parents after they left and they were equally shocked.
Yes it was my fault for not locking the computer, however these kids were older and should of known better. At the very least the older kid. But again, they grew up in a higher income household and have never been told no in their lives, so yeah.
Lesson learned. Now I always lock my PC when I walk away, even when it’s just me in the house.

Lol that’s why to boot my PC on the real HDD you gotta enter UEFI mode and select the drive manually. Otherwise you boot in the safe HDD with everything legal.

Nah, my teen daughters have all access to my gaming rig (they always play either Roblox or Fortnite); I even let my lil’ nephews (brother’s grandkids) use my rig when they come visit (they mostly play fall guys and forza horizon 5).

I normally have peasant category cousins i live in third world country only 30% saw a computer out of 143 million mobile are technically computer but PC it’s rare in this nation except big cities nope. Less than 7-8% have wifi in this country 90% in telecom cell phone internet.
I usually give them my pc so they could enjoy some ganes kids here are made to behave by parents they are civilised they don’t do anything wrong.
