This has been happening since April, at a rate of 1 a month roughly. At first I was scratching my head but as time went on and more people started having problems with Intel, I was forced to limit power to only 100W to the CPU to keep them more stable.
Luckily we work B2B so we had them replaced and running again very quickly!
That’s why we decided to go with AMD this month when we’re expanding our gaming center with 10 more PCs!

Hard to believe intel really did this to us, as a 13900k owner, I will most likely be changing over to AMD next time. This is fucked, how can I trust intel after this?
My friend has a 13600k that crashes all the time, at least once a day. We were like WTF until the news came out and it all matched up…. He was running the BIOS CPU boost bullshit from day 1 so guessing his CPU is damage like the others.

Might I suggest the 12900k, it is basically that same chip but not killing itself like the 13/14 gen. Have been. At least I haven’t heard of them dying yet. Plus it is a drop in ready swap.

I have an i5 13600kf, when i got it it used to overheat so i lowered the load lite in bios, is that enough to keep it safe? it doesn’t go over 75° now

my13700k luckily works just fine . had it since 2023 April with MSI’s multicore enhancements activated since day 1.
my processor was made in 2022 so maybe im lucky cos the oxidation problem happened in 2023 + my voltage never gets over 1.36v in gaming/windows.
If I walked into a gaming center and every PC still had the packing stickers on the glass I would walk right back out. Obvious sign the owners have no idea what they are doing.
Are the intel CPU crashing problems the Computer getting blue screen, or applications crashing?

My workstation in the lab (I work in science) was getting new CPUs and I managed to convince my boss that we should go the AMD route for the next pcs.
We have eight PCs. The entire company is gonna go with AMD now apparently. So they lost out on probably 150-200 CPU sales.
Obvious that’s tiny for now, but if our company is doing it. Plenty more are.
