Lots of games on the Marketplace are on offers with a lot of them being under $10 or so. Get some good deals before it goes away completely.
Any games you already purchased will be available for download but purchasing will be completely disabled after the shutdown.

Sniper Ghost Warrior, DMC HD Collection, NFS Hot Pursuit 2012, Homefront, Burnout Crash, Birds of Steel is all the games I picked up digitally for less than $20 total!
crackdown 1 and 2, and too human are free. resident evil games 0,4,5,6 and revelations are $2 each.
Just to clarify, backwards compatible 360 games will still be available for purchase on xbone/series consoles, or are those going away too?

Does this affect DLC for Xbox360 games?
Many games and purchases that I made on the 360 market place disappeared years ago. If I tried to download it would just return an error.
I wouldn’t advise anyone to spend any money unless you are ok with being unable to download the game again in the future.
