I'm tempted to hit conqueror at least once, but my question is whether it's easier than it looks or the very opposite?.
For example in CODM hitting legendary (top rank) is pretty easy, playing frequently will nearly guarantee it.
On the other hand, hitting Masters (top rank) in Brawl Stars, is not easy whatsoever.
How is PubG mobile on the spectrum?, is hitting the max rank a piece of cake or a struggle?

Can i hit Conqueror just by camping here and there, avoiding combat and playing like twice a week?
Depends on what server and what mode, I reached conqueror in tpp solo NA in 6 days (I skipped one also) and the gameplay was easy, yes, even on 150-200 ms, I didn’t lose any ranking points the whole time, the rating were as good as they get, and still I had to play all day for hours, starting each new match WAS TORTURE, IT WAS TORTURE and I was hating this game by the time I reached conqueror lmao. In conclusion the people who go for conqueror every season and play for hours are fucking insane
It’s possible for a bad-ish player to get to Conqueror, but takes a lot of time, and you would either need to play a lot in a short timeframe or play consistently for the whole season.

You can do it, if you dont have to do anything else in your life.
