**TLDR with the two clips and reason of the thread**: jL acts shocked how crazy Snap-Tap is, claims he doesn’t think it’s cheating and that it’s on the TO’s to decide what to do, despite not admitting he used it in Dallas and EWC.

I’m a bit confused, are wooting keyboards banned? there’s definitely a mechanical advantage but I thought this sort of thing has been around forever

It’s been a thing in TF2 for more than a decade. People setup alias configs that stop you from pressing two directions at the same time and slowing down.

I think all this shit should be banned, otherwise everyone will be using it and a key part of the game is trivialized

guys know what’s funniest part?
People in the subreddit said Wooting is a great company; they could do the same feature in their keyboard, but they didn’t. Instead, they created something called “Rappy Snappy,” which is much fairer compared to Razer.
I’ll be honest.. noone cares. Snap Tap is a feature that is allowed, and that’s how it is. A little bit out of topic: noone can deny the fact that jL is a worldclass player with, or without the tool. Valve, and other TO’s or League’s allowed it. It is how it is so stop complaining. It is one of the little problem this game has.

Adding SOCD/Snap-Tap to an analog rapid trigger keyboard, is like going from 240hz to 260hz, there is some improvement, but you can barely feel any difference.
However, adding Null Binds to a mechanical keyboard would be like going from 60hz to 144hz, you can definitely feel the difference (that’s why people are complaining that it’s cheating -> you have an advantage over 60hz), but they don’t realize that you are still worse than 240hz, and it’s actually better to have Null Binds ALLOWED in order to reduce the GAP between mechanical and analog keyboards with rapid trigger.

Calling out players to have a stance and at least admit using it, since it’s not cheating according to TO’s.
We know that PROs been using Rapid Trigger from Razor the last +6 months, but where does it end?
