Hi all,
I have a 13900k all stock and now boosting allcore 5.0ghz….
After the new bios update from asus I have a power cap.
Everything is set on auto but using the safe intel settings so no asus OC
The irony. When stresstesting in CPU-Z you can compare your cpu with another one. I choose the 13900k …..
So f*ck ASUS and INTEL for doing this shit. I will revert back to my old bios to get 5.5ghz boost back.
My cpu didnt had any problems but with all the drama I updated the bios for the new microcode.
Just to be safe….
They should just RMA my CPU and get a new one that actually works and does not require to operate below max settings.

I’m not sure why it’s been posted in r/overclocking though
Can’t you just raise the limits?
Revert back. Unlock power limits. Set an all core locked to disable the single core boost and set a manual safe voltage. (5.6ghz all core 1.35v probably about the sweet spot) Degradation issues are being caused by 1.45v+ being shoved into the one core that’s boosts super higher.
