>Every mission in the game is named after an iconic song.
Not quite…
In Act I, the jobs have simple, direct names (The Ripperdoc, The Pickup, The Heist). Why? Because it’s Jackie writing them; the text descriptions are peppered with his Spanglish.
From Love Like Fire onward, however, the Main and Side jobs are all named after songs (or albums, or a religious chant), because it’s Johnny naming them and writing the descriptions. More than that, according to Max Mike, they’re all songs Johnny likes. Man’s quite a Bowie fan, to the surprise of absolutely nobody.

I thought it was named after the movie to be honest but yeah they are all named after songs so that’d make more sense

I have a playlist of all these songs (~150 tracks)
Other facts:
All the missions given by Goro Takemura are named after Iggy Pop’s songs (with or without The Stooges): Down on The Street, Gimme Danger, Play it Safe, Search And Destroy. Why?
A side job haves two titles: “Night Moves‘’ becomes ‘’Burning Desire‘’ after the heist

i wish they had one called All I Wanted Was You by Paramore and the mission is just putting flowers on the Rebecca’s grave.
Ruataur
In brazilian portuguese they did the same with popular songs here. I was always curious If they did that for other countries.
