How much of a difference in $ was it?

I love Arctic. I use the Liquid Freezer ii and all P12s for my system.

As long as Artics AIOs remain near top of the charts performance wise, I’ll never use another brand.
1) Have a great product.
2) Stand behind that product.
3) Value their customers.

this just means they over charge for their product if they can give you a discount.

NZXT is pricey but I’m a big fan of their warranty period.

Seems like a weird reason to swear allegiance to a cpu cooler brand when amazon made refunded you due to a price difference?

Have never been disappointed with any Arctic product and my LFII is still doing great! Arctic also make a very high quality monitor arm (X1-3D) which I purchased recently and has been wonderful.

The EVGA of cooling.
RIP EVGA. I will forever miss you.

I got a $28.69 refund today from them. Liquid Freezer III 360 AIO purchased back in April. Never received something like this before from any company. Amazing

Thermalright also seems pretty good, they have cheap (~$60) AIOs that perform really well. Kind of makes most high-end air coolers pointless
Cave_TP
You probably still paid it ~2x of a comparable air cooler tho.
And don’t get me starter on how overpiced their air coolers are.

Damn, are they the new EVGA???
calmboy2020
Arctic and Thermalrigh are always really good.

It’s good they way they handled their AIO problems, essentially compared to some *other* brands when it comes to issues

I have 11 arctic p12 in my case and a liquid freezer 2 360mm, i love arctic. They’re cheap, reliable and most importantly are literally better than any other competitor. You get 1 noctua nh12a or whatever it’s name is for the price of 3 p12 when they have the same performance, it’s a no-brainer.

Sooooo, Artic likely had to do that to avoid a lawsuit.
The reality is that if a company prices something incorrectly (this is for within the UK though Id like to think most countries would have a similar standard) they do not have to honour that price.
An example would be like when superdrug accidentally showed prices on black Friday on their website that instead of being 20% off, it was 20% the price. Because this was a genuine mistake they did not have to honour the price.
(Though this case worked out in superdrugs favour, I believe the same can apply the other way)
I believe it’s likely that if they have a price it was meant to be but was incorrect on the site or the invoice they would have corrected this to ensure they don’t get sued.

In a sea of posts about horrid customer service, it’s really nice seeing there are still a handful of morally intact companies.

Artic thermal paste is also great

Whenever I get a 9800X3D I’m gonna upgrade to a LF3. They just keep getting better….
Digestingorb47

MrDrDude333
Some might say that’s really… Cool… Of them…

When I moved, I lost my second set of clips to attach a future second fan to my arctic freezer 34. I messaged them through eBay asking where I could buy some that would fit. They emailed back saying that some would be shipping to my house soon. Customer for life. Such a small thing, but every computer I have built has their fans in it.

Love that- I actually do that in my business too- not that politely though lol

I love arctic products. Their coolers are pretty great, and the fans are high quality at a fraction of noctua price.
