I got Cyberpunk when it first came out for the series X, charged through the story, did a couple money glitches and didn’t really enjoy the game for what it offered (although it was a buggy mess, I never experienced any). I also chose Nomad path which wasn’t the best either. After finishing the game I left it and didn’t go back.
4 years later a work colleague said the game is “fixed”. I’ve currently got two weeks off, bought Phanton Liberty. Went to start it but I was so under levelled. I was level 22, street cred 33. And after all the resets from the updates, my only choice was to start again.
Best decision I made. Chose Corpo path, and this game is incredible.
Doing all the side quests as everyone has mentioned, left the story at “Meet Takemura”.
I don’t think I’m anywhere near going into the DLC and the game is perfection. Haven’t had one bug (even before I think I’m a lucky one that didn’t experience any in 2020).
Currently level 33, Max street cred and having a blast!
Tl;dr just another post to say they’ve absolutely smashed this game out of the park and it’s one everyone should go back and start form scratch!

I didn’t know it was coming at all.
It makes me upset they over promised and under delivered for release. We could have had a CP MP at some point in the future, instead they dropped that idea to fix the base game. I love what we got, don’t get me wrong. I just want to play coop in the Cyber Punk world all day every day if I could.
I care more about cyberpunk 2 than gta 6 tbh

The only city where urban chaos is comforting
I need some tips on how to get back into it after 2.0
I’ve tried a couple of times but each attempt I just get overwhelmed by the changes, I’m severely overburdened so I can only walk, and I don’t know how to use my build I was familiar with, which was 20 Body, 20 Intelligence, and 20 Tech

I actually don’t expect GTA 6 to look as good.
It will have much better sandbox but purely on graphics I doubt it will come anywhere close to path traced cyberpunk.
Even more likely since it’s launching on console and not PC at 1st

I’ve played RDR2 and loved it. I’ve watched gta 6 trailers and for it boils down to I could care less about that world. Cyberpunk 2077 just vibes with me. Whether people think those other games are better or not doesn’t matter. Night city is simply where I’d rather spend my time.
Cyberpunk is a fantastic game, but it’s not even the same category as GTA, CDPR only has 1.6K employees, while Rockstar Games has 6.4K. It will not come even close. Both is good is my opinion
True & I ain’t really gonna care until it gets here with real reviews. If it’s got more online focus I’m trashing it off my wishlist.

Nah man. Cyberpunk is in my top 3, one of the games I have played the most, but GTA 6 is GTA 6.

Odd take here. Cyberpunk 2077 is my fav game of all time. I’ve done two playthroughs at over 200+ hours combined. I love it. I love the Cyberpunk Universe because it is unique and beautiful.
However, you seem to have personal beef with GTA. GTA is great and I think it paved the way for games like Cyberpunk to exist. Do I think Cyberpunk is better than GTA? Yes. Am I more excited for Orion than GTA6? Yes. But to say GTA is bad or worse than Cyberpunk is crazy.
I love cyberpunk. I’m on my 4th playthrough. I think it’s the best next gen game to come out. I have over 600 hours on it.
But… on GTA I have something like 10000 hours lmfao.
