Has anyone ever done custom GPU cables like this before?

    Yes. People have braided their wires against the advice of others many times before.

    This might become a trend once it picks up speed. I just hope that the materials that are wrapped around the wires are well-insulated enough to avoid crucial damage to the system.

    Seen some people do this back in the overclockers forum. Best where imo the guys sewing cables together for a super tight combed look.

    I don’t know man, your username tells me that you are an expert on braiding something.

    But, I agree with the hazard you are connecting the wrong wire to the socket. And if the cbale is not good enough there might be a puncture and will cause you more damages. I am not an electrician.

    The voltage is too low to have any significant em effects such as heating, but definitely not recommended as it might be hard to replace damaged wired later. Be future proof, looking cool is secondary

    It’s either the stock ones, or bought from cable mod.
