I've set the RAM to XMP in BIOS and also tried 3600 DDR4 as well as Auto but no matter what it shows as "1800 Mhz" in memtest86+.
Is this right?
If not, how do I get it to be 3600 in memtest?

It’s correct your using DDR which is Double Data Rate. 1800MHz x 2 = 3600MT/s
1800 + 1800 = 3600
DDR = Double Data Rate
The Data Rate is 1800, so double that is 3600, which is what your ram is rated for.
Some programs will list it as 3600, others as 1800. This includes different versions of Memtest, and there may be some that will just list the base 2133/2400/2666 that DDR4 is technically specced for, not the XMP/DOCP profile.
