Lessons learned:

  1. Don’t rest a paint tray on top of your very expensive hardware,

and 2. Close your cat out of the room before painting.

I think it’s all good. Just needs some cleaning

  2. Fun fact. Some mousepads, keyboards and even cabinets can look like that. Art and design they call it.

  3. TyraelmxMKIII

only one led to this: Overconfidence.

But jokes aside, you should be good to go. just clean it very carefully and thorough.

  4. Flashy-Outcome4779

I mean, if you let it dry it might look kinda cool…

  5. Thisisstupid78

Going for that Jackson Pollock look.

  6. Low-Dog-8027

doesn’t even look that bad, just rock this style.

  7. FreeNet_Coyote

that’s no how you custom a computer.

seriously, the screen look fine, I hope

  8. arp492022

Stevie Wonder could see that was a bad idea…

  9. Tech-Mechanic

Probably nothing is damaged… Possibly the keyboard.

Don’t look upon this incident as an unfortunate accident. Look up on it as triumphant luck that the monitor didn’t get splashed.

  10. Careless-Midnight-63

The mousepad actually looks really good

  11. Revan-Vs-Vader

Lol what are your next steps moving forward from this?

  12. Zatoichi80

Nothing to see here but pure unadulterated stupidity.
    Better luck next time op.

  13. smoothartichoke27

Ngl, it actually looks pretty cool

  14. Chaddtss

This level of stupid shouldn’t be painting.

  15. totally_not_a_boat

Only the monitor pains me thank goodness it wasnt affected much

  16. MattyGWS

rip. You should have at least covered the pc in some plastic sheet.

  17. You know fwiw, before I saw the paint tray or the desk and all I saw was the case with the paint on it, I thought to myself “That case looks -awesome- with that paint graphic on it”

  18. CharlieMWY

Some people pay extra for designs like this. I’d let it dry and leave it, could look pretty cool.

  19. On the bright side the monitor looks untouched and having an Alienware OLED myself those things ain’t cheap so you’re at least lucky here

  20. Cloud_N0ne

Add another rule to that list:

    3. Remove PC and peripherals from room before painting.

My parents had the house repainted once and I totally moved my PC out of the room. I didn’t want any spills and certainly didn’t want any paint fumes in the PC. Idk if that would do anything but i didn’t wanna chance it

Nice part is that your mousepad looks dope and the side of your pc does too.
