Especially if your family member asks for help and they send you a screenshot taken with the phone camera and the Moire is all over the picture making it hard to read or see

I’ve seen users photocopy an ipad screen.

I have a friend who’s a computer engineer and he can’t take a screennshot to save his life. He’s taken the same picture with his phone so many times I’ve lost count.

You forgot people who have a separate screen, can quite possibly have a screen capture feature but pull out their phone and take a poorly framed photo instead

Just like the old ways of pirating movies…

I use Windows Key + Print Screen to put it in Screenshots folder.

  8. Easier to use win+prtsc, itll take a screenshot for the whole screen and save it with no extra clicks

I’ve searched for it so many [x] thousand times that I can press Win > S in like a milisecond to start Snipping Tool.

Its one of my pet peeves when some kid posts “this normal” with ZERO context and a cell pic of an FPS counter and nothing else as it right up on the screen taken with a greasy ass camera lens.

Then they get butt hurt and defensive when you point out thats horrible and useless and to post a screenshot instead.

I work at company with cctv access from the main computer where you can perfectly extract a clip of video but they all decide to use their phones to send the video to the company email.

Pd:these are people whose CV says they got computer skills.

okay, in all fairness the cell phone shot makes sense if its a gpu or monitor issue that doesnt show on screencaps. other than that though…
