Crazy how long it’s taking them so re-release the 4000 series
MrVaporDK
Please take your time! I just got a 4080 Super.

What about RDNA4 ?
No-Actuator-6245
Obviously no crystal ball but pushing it back will hurt annual revenues so they would need a very good reason to do so.
MasterChief118
I want 4090 power at a more affordable price. Prob not gonna happen but a man can dream
kaisean
Still remember the nightmare that was the 2020 30-series release. Can’t believe it was 4 years ago.
AtTheGates
Oh no… what will we do till then?
rishab75
Glad I pulled the switch on my 4080 super instead of waiting for some announcement. Computex they said. Lmao!
Denaviro
I can’t afford it anyways so no point in waiting personally
Admiral_Hipper_
I predict October, mark my words
deefop
Disappointing, but not the end of the world.
There’s clearly still a lot of stock from the last 2 gens floating around. It’s honestly almost amazing that you still see sales on rdna2 and ampere. I’m guessing that Amd and Nvidia realize that another lineup will just be competing with what is already sitting on shelves. Hopefully this means the sales get even more desperate leading up to the holidays.

how soon are GPUs released after their announcements? is it like iphones where they’re available a week or two later, or like consoles where they’re announced months in advance?
**edit: googled a bit, the 40 series was announced in late september and the 4090 released in mid october. so about a month between announcement and release. would expect 50 series to begin release in mid february with the 5090 if that holds true**
ElFanta83
Glad that I bought my 4090FE in Feb then.
Sleyeme
I thought this was expected, they’ve been preaching 2025 since last year, i even remember the uproar and copium people were smoking when the initial report came out for 2025.

As always people: buy the most powerful you can afford *right now.* Never wait!
Living-Advantage-605
i just got my 4090 last year push it even further let me get my moneys worth lmao
ziplock9000
I thought this was already stated a few weeks ago and was speculated to be the case going back MUCH further?

I’m fine with this. My 3080ti is still going strong and I see no reason to upgrade to 40 series. I’ve considered a 4080S just so I can get better frame rates at 4k, but honestly my card is fine. Plays most games 120+ FPS with DLSS enabled so I’d just be hoping to get the same performance with DLSS off or 140+ with DLSS enabled. With the 5000 series though I’m hoping I can jump to a 5080 or 5080ti and it’ll be a more sizeable leap in performance for what I’ll be paying.

Early 4090 adopters who paid MSRP are loving this.
edparadox
Oh, no… Anyway.
InnerPlantain8066
*pats the back of my 1660 ti* : straighten up little soldier 🥺
Dapper-Gent83
Good.. ive still not finacially recovered from my 3080ti purchase, at least give me time to save up for the 50 series
DeltaXray
Nvidia are in the square root of no hurry at all to rush out any new products whilst they’re diving into their pits of money like Scrooge mcduck, and they’re not under any real competition from amd.
r0bb3dzombie
As if anyone who owns any RTX 40 series card has a reason to move to 50.
Marlice1
Okay
beast_nvidia
Its just rumors, based on kopite. This dude was not always right about his information. Take it with a grain of salt, nvidia might still announce the new gen in q4 2024 and release it in q1 2025. These are only speculations.
