I've always thought the nuketown zombie models were particularly haunting. Something about irradiated, burnt and horrifically disfigured zombies stumbling towards you along with the creepy, blood soaked hazmat zombies always gave me the chills. I think the WW2 zombie models are a close runner up because they're just downright horrifying, with their gaping jaws and unnatural movements.

The Mob of the Dead zombies used to freak me out as a kid. The long claws, red eyes out of nowhere and sharp bits of metal sticking out of their bodies make them imposing. I also like how there are guard and inmate models, it adds to the ambience.

  4. I don’t know if this counts but the dogs from Exo Zombies used to genuinely unnerve me.

Mob. I always liked the different vibe that map has, it legitimately feels like they’re in hell. I wish it remained its own thing and not some weird dimensional offshoot of the main story

WWII Zombies was made with horror in mind, kinda like the early maps. As such, the models are fucking CREEPY.

Waw zombies definetely. If i had to be specific I would say the shi no numa zombies mostly because of how harder they were to hit and their walking animation was quite different to what we had seen so far. Verrukt zombies are pretty much OG until you get the sprinters and they were horrible😂

Special shout to the zombies on Five tho. Their design was so simple but so ominus and creepy. It gave them a human element that they were just workers at the Pentagon before they turned.

If you like Nuketown zombie models, may I suggest you take a look at the Moon and Ascension ones. Melted skin, popping veins and necrosed muscles.
