SO TRUE, cannot understand gaming chairs. They are always more expensive, geeky looking (can be cool but they’re not very tasteful), and almost always less comfortable than a solid office chair. I’ve always bought office chairs and they’ve served me well

I couldn’t bring myself to buy one new but I got a very very well taken care of Secret Lab chair from Facebook marketplace and I absolutely love it. My back, elbows, neck and butt feel so much better than when I owned a shitty Amazon gaming chair like the one pictured.

Can confirm. I have two Steelcase leaps. One was $6 (yes, $6! from Goodwill ) while the other was $115. Both, of course, needed gas cylinders. In order of price, they’re from 2004 and 2002.

I bought one because i had to get a new chair (and i didn’t want to put a thousand bucks like the chairs we have at my workplace, so i bought one from Paracon (the website where i bought my desk) for 150 bucks i think
Let’s just say that time i buy a new chair, i’ll save for it, gaming chairs are really overrated

Gaming chairs fucking suck. I sank so much money as a teenager into these pieces of shit and kept blaming my weird leg postures for all the broken ones. Took me way too damn long to learn about office chairs and how much better they are in every single aspect EVER. Gaming chairs are a scam!
