This is BS, right?

    yea, obvious garbage.

shouldn’t be buying intel 13/14th gen chips really, they’re prone to premature death.

Nothing stopping you from building your own mini itx 14900K

  3. Active-Quarter-4197

No, the older threadrippers are pretty slow compared to newer chips

  4. Yes, it is taged as _Deal_ so it is basically an ad.

  5. Helstar_RS

Affiliate link comparing to old thread rippers.

  6. Bad idea to put that powerful chip in a small formfactor pc. Besides, that cpu is known for instability too

I mean even if it were real. Mac Studio says Hi

Must be an article sponsored by Userbenchmark.

  9. I don’t get it why they are showing 300w cpu’s in such tiny enclosures. This is not ITX as that to my understanding, means that while small, the cpu is comfortable and cool. That cannot be the case here. Going small does not mean slaping the tiniest coolers on something that’s boiling even with a tower cooler just because the mounting allows it.

It is for users who understands their usecase well, know that for their needs a cpu peaking at 65-80w is just fine and might as well reap the size benefits. What we see here is an example of “do it ’cause we can” just to brag about it even at the cost of the system melting into your table. I think anyone belonging to that 0.5% of pc user popupation who actually needs a 14900K for their everyday tasks because they work at NASA or whatever, probably has enough grey matter to know this.

    Pute bullshit.

    Advertising disguised as journalism.

As expected, comparing the best CPU Intel made to date vs almost the shittiest of AMD TRP line (7955WX), as if that’s anything to boast about…

Any higher TRP model is pretty much 2x better than the shit intel in question

“If it seems to good to be true, it usually is”

Something my dad told me many, many, MANY moons ago.

  13. 14 gen intel dying prematurely, totally not a ad disguised as an article

  14. staytsmokin

I mean if you wanna fuck around and find out with a 14900k go ahead. I have a 14700k and i pray everyday.

  15. piotrek211

Ooo no no no we can’t say anything good about intel in this sub

  16. ShaMana999

Anyone can shove a 14900k in a small ITX enclosure. I wouldn’t recommend it though. It would peak in temps quick, and throttle hard

Also that is clearly an ad

Hmm lets see an Optiplex that dell will not sell you via their website, channel partners, AWS, JB HiFi and only via some rando website….yeah BS

  18. Technically true.

The I9-14900K boosts to 6Ghz, the threadripper 16-core boosts to 5.3Ghz. Thus the I9 is faster.

Same marketing that technique that said Excel soreadsheets were better than lotus 123 spreadsheets because there were more columns and rows.

That is either going to set itself on fire, or the fan is going to be ungodly levels of loud.
I have a small Thinkcentre thin client with an AM4 A6 and there is not once that said computer was quiet. Not once.

Goood luck when it’s going to fail to anyone that buys it- it’s starting to be a problem also on laptop..
